It was sad to say goodbye to the mighty Blatherwick family and we sat quietly watching the very last of the New Zealand sunset on the drive down to Auckland airport.
It wasn't long till we were on our way home, back to the snow...
The flight to Singapore was quick and painless (thank goodness!) and we soon found ourselves at Singapore Changi Airport. There we grabbed our hand luggage and made our way through immigration so that we could jump on a bus and enjoy a free tour of Singapore and a trip to one of the local temples. It was a hot and clammy 30C, even at 7am! With 6 hours to killmade the most of what little time we had in Asia and took plently of pictures of the surrounding areas and spent as much time as possible breathing in the foriegn air and warm climate before piling back onto the airbus.
Matt seemed to enjoy the flight back while i slept for most of it, often being woken up by cuddles from matt, hot towels from the air hostess and even a Magnum icecream which was a nice suprise! We love Singapore airlines!!
We arrived back in London at about 10pm and travelled on the tube to Uncle Paul's house to stay the night. Arriving back to rain and cold weather wasn't the warmest of welcomes but i was excited to see my family, share my adventures and show off my tan!
We woke early in London and began our short trip north to Birmingham. By 4pm we were trudging our suitcases through the snow in Hagley before finally relaxing and slowly unpacking all our adventures in front of the fire at 46 Meadow Croft.
