We took it easy in the morning just chilled with Kathy and misha then headed to farwell spit, which is at the top of the south island, we walked down the beach and saw lots of birds then we started our long drive back down the country to Harmner Springs, 7 hours later we arrived at Hamner booked our bed and then headed to see whats in town, Hamner is well known for its hot thermal springs, so we had firstly grabbed some food, a large half half pizza which was amazing.
Then we headed to the springs and it was amazing 9 large thermal outdoor pools ranging from 35’ to 41’. Sophie and I had an amazing time just chilling in the pools for a couple of hours. After the pools we went for a walk and ended up in a kiwi pub and we drank the local beer, I had summer ale and soph had radler bier lemon and lime, we had a pint and a half each and after a long day it went straight to our heads and we called it bed time.
