Our final day in the South Island

Our final day in the south island and it was a beaut. The sun was out and we had to hand our car back in which was a sad moment for soph and i who got quiet attached to our Nissan Pulsar. So after packing all our stuff in the back of the car we headed towards a petrol station and went to the British shop and soph was so happy having that element of home. (she bought some flying saucers!!) Then we went to take our car back to the rentals office and dropped it off, soph nearly cried!!!
Then we got a lift to the airport and checked in for our flight and dropped our big bag off. From there we walked 5 min to the Antarctic Centre that wasn’t cheap but worth it, we went in to a snowstorm, which was about -20 degrees for about 2 min.

We also went to see small blue penguins being feed which was amazing, they were jumping in and out of the water. Later we went on a Hagglund, which is a vehicle they drive over the snow in Antarctica, it was extremely bumpy. After all that fun we jumped on a plane and headed back up north and we could see from the plane some places where we had been. Once we got to Auckland we were picked up from bex and kirsty and drove home and caught up with my family.
Peace out

The skydive just sounded amazing you lucky things, you are both so brave, don't think me and Andrew would have the guts. You will never forget such a thing. Soph, the photo is brilliant, Andrew double clicked to get it up big and your expression is so funny.... looked like you were having a ball!
