Happy Christmas!

Christmas eve was definitely one to remember!...

Bex, Blake, Matt and I headed down to the Funky Fish. It's a bar/restaurant near Bailyss Beach. On the way down we picked up Kirsty and drove to her Uncle's house (where we would be crashing that night) he was on holiday and had left the bathroom window open so we could get it. Breaking in was a bit of a mission! but we managed it in the end. Bex invited a few of her friends and we walked over to the Funky. After we arrived it became really packed and everyone was drinking and catching up. I was introduced to loads of matt and Blake's school friends. All in all it was a brilliant night. We stumbled home in the early hours and camped out on the sofa.

Christmas morning came around soon enough and we all felt a bit worse for wear from a heavy night drinking. But we made it back to Matt's parents house early and met Robin and Snow (family friends) We relaxed in the morning and had a bbq breakfast and packed up the kayaks and Christmas picnic ready to head out to the lakes.

There we met Brya and her boyfriend Roland (Robin and Snow's daughter) and we shared our secret santa gifts. It was a bit like deal or no deal as you picked a number and the could choose to swap it with someone elses. It was fun. I ended up with 20 scratch-cards and managed to win $7! It was great fun!

It was a hot day so we were constantly dipping in and out of the lake. We kayaked across to the other side and had a big lunch. Later we headed over to Marilynn's for dinner and a party of her balcony. Andy gave us shots of Strager which tasted disgusting!! It was a brilliant end to a brilliant day and a summer Christmas i will never forget.
