Country Cowboy Rodeo

Today we woke up early, grabbed a chilly bin stuffed with sandwhiches, snacks and drinks and hopped in the car on the way to maungatapere Rodeo.

When we arrived we found a spot on the grass and relaxed in the sun watching the racing horses, the country cowboys riding bucking bulls and even small children riding bucking calfs. It was really entertaining and we topped up our tans as we lay in the sun.

After the rodeo, we headed out to Whangarei for a mini pub crawl.
